Party chief of Guilin under investigation

Zhou Jiabin, Party secretary of Guilin city in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, is under investigation for alleged serious violation of disciplines and laws, according to a statement from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission on Saturday.
Zhou, who is 64 years old and originally from Shandong province, also serves as the deputy head of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
